12 weeks... nearly 3 months ;)

Well we are nearly at the 3 month mark. Boy how time flies!

Current update:

Weight: 6.1kg (clothes on)

Height: 60 cms

Hair colour: getting lighter, honey brown may be able to descibe the colour at the moment.

Eye colour: Still blue

Personality: Have I mentioned that Mila is cheeky? ;p

So we are still waiting in anticipation for the first unassisted roll, I think tummy time is too much fun to want to roll over just yet. I do not think it is far away though!

We have been suprised over the last 2 days with Mila deciding that she can now have conversations with us. The conversations are lasting alot longer and are now far more interesting!

We still give our big cheeky smile at every chance not to mention the tongue poking out at every opportunity.

Its also nearly time to move to her big bed exclusively as her bassinette is starting to get a bit small... hopefully by the 4 month mark Mila will be sleeping in her own room.

11 week update

Hi All,

A few more pics of Mila.

She is growing bigger each week, I don't know where the time is going. She is now 5.7 kilos!! and 58 cms long. Thats 2.4 kilos heavier and 9cms longer!!

Her personality is also starting to appear, cheeky?? I don't know where she would get it from. Gladly displaying her big smile and usually a tongue appears on a regular basis.

She will happily play on her gym and we are waiting in anticipation for her first roll, she can't quite get the momentum to roll right over, the most she gets to is up on her side.

She loves going to her Mum's group every Tuesday and has just discovered that she is not the only baby there and tries to talk to the others.

We also had our first lot of needles on Tuesday... All went as well as can be expected... :(

8 weeks/ 2months... already!!!

Well as you can see Mila is now 8 weeks old or 2 months on Thursday.

My little angel is not so little anymore and it is all going alot quicker than Mum and Dad would like. We can't complain, she now smiles alot more and likes to have little chats with us aswell.

The last 2 weeks have seen Mila discovering her legs...alot of kicks are now taking place especially without a nappy, although this isn't a necessity :) Arms are getting alot more coordinated with the attempt to reach out and touch thing and a stong grip if she manages to get hold of what she is after.

Mila is quite a happy little baby, that will 9 times out of 10 give you her cheeky smile and if you are lucky she might even attempt a hello!

Unfortunately, this time also brings along the time for needles, which we are booked in for Tuesday 8th ...I don't know who will be more upset, Mum or Mila.

Today also marked the day that we started our mums and bubs group, with a big group of 12 Mums and bubs. Mila was behaved perfectly, sleeping from the time it started till we got home :)

Oh and I nearly forgot, Mila slept in her big bed for the first time yesterday too...
